Does anybody know how the final nursing grade is calculated?
    I was under the inpression
    first year -5%
    Second year -5%
    Third year -40%
    And Fourth year -40%

However my friend thinks it is split 50 % and 50% between our 2nd and third year.
Can someone please clear this up for us??

Is it only supposed to add up to 90?

Check the student section of the Nursing and Midwifery website. There's usually a copy of the student handbook there, and that should list the degree grade breakdown somewhere.

Maybe give the course office a call/email? :) I'm sure they'd either have the information pretty much straight to hand, or would be able to find it out fairly quickly.
