Breakfast - the most important meal of the deal?

I usually have a couple of slices of toast, bowl of cereal and a coffee for breakfast or a breakfast roll from londis and the local deli is starting to serve up sub par food.

Its getting a bit repetitive and I would like to change it up with some good suggestions. I would be looking to have it cooked, eaten and cleaned up in about 20 minutes. I would have a decent appetite in the morning and dont mind doing some cooking.

What do you eat for breakfast?

It depends on what your goals are.. apart from breaking the boredom.

I'd introduce a bit of fruit if you could.. kiwis, plums etc?

I love scrambled eggs myself- there's a place I go in london that serves superfood scrambled eggs- scrambled eggs with chopped tomatoes, chilis, spinach, seeds and a few bits of feta.. tasty

At home i'd have porridge a bit- with frozen raspberries from lidl, and some crushed seeds.

What about granola? healthier (although higher in good fats and calories) than cereal. Lizi's brand is great

Getting the feeling though i'm on too much of a health buzz for your tastes ;)

Continued to eat a poor breakfast and now am back on a health kick recently. Eating a lot of grapes in the morning along with porridge these days and really noticing a difference in health and mindset.

I drink two glasses of water when I get up before breakfast, then a fresh carrot and celery juice.

Bircher museli is really nice but takes a little preparing. The night before you soak your oats and whatever dried fruits and raw or toasted nuts and seeds you fancy in juice to which you can add some mint if you please. The next morning add in fresh fruits such as grapes or passion fruit or whatever you like.

This also sounds really weird but is actually delicious but take a banana, cut it in half lengthways as if you were going to make a banana split, spread the inside with nut butter and sprinkle with seeds and dried fruit. It gives you a great energy boost at the start of the day.
