I really dont know if I can take another season of dopey Susan and her dopey storylines. One episode in and you can call that this web cleaning game is going to end badly and lead to another fight between Susan and Mike about how she is keeping secrets :rolleyes:

Also not really interested in the John Paul storyline.

On the other hand the baby swap storyline could be really really good if handled correctly

Meanwhile, I already hate Vanessa Williams' character.

Tom was hilarious though. His face when he walked in on the "threesome with the rugby team" arguement was adorable.

I know that Orson is more or less gone now, but is it just me, or was there something off about him?

i perfered it when desperete housewives only had one series per year which ran from the begining of january to the end of may , the last series only ended a week before the world cup began

RTE took months to get the last season. They're only about a week or so behind the US with the new season.

That's why this one seems so 'soon'.

it was the very same last year , the previous season ended at the end of may and the new on began in september or early october , then thier was a mid season break for around two months as is the norm in america , i perfer a straight run

Nancy Travis has signed up to appear in the new season of Desperate Housewives.
The Becker actress will star in several episodes of the drama, Entertainment Weekly reports.
She will play the mother of Brian Austin Green's character Keith, a decorator hired by Bree (Marcia Cross).
Earlier this week, it emerged that John Schneider will star in the show as Keith's father.
Travis and Schneider will make their Desperate Housewives debuts together in the seventh episode of the new season.

ugh. this show was never great tbh, but this season is just incredibly bad. The episode where what's-his-name gets the medicinal marijuana is so awful I cringed the whole time.

I think I'm just not even going to bother watching this anymore.

It was pretty embarrasing alright. DH is so predictable, once again Lynette emasculates Tom, this time by switching his drugs for oregano, once again making him look like a fool. She is such a bitch.

To be honest the storyline with Gabby is the only thing keeping me watching. She is my favourite character. I wish they would get rid of Susan.

Yeah, a guy who ran a pizza restaurant for 2 years doesn't know oregano when he smells it? Probably the lowest moment in the show's writing history.

I'm new to DH, and am absolutely loving this season (probably because I'm new).

I've pretty much caught up on everything except the Paul issue. Why did he kill yer one? Was it something to do with her finding out his son wasn't his? And then her sister staged her own death to frame him, and now she's in prison.

Mary Alice [the narrator] was Paul's wife. Many years ago, Mary Alice and Paul couldn't conceive a child, and in desperation bought a baby from a heroin addict named Deirdre.
At this time Mary Alice's real name was Angela,she was working in a rehab center and this is how she met Deirdre.
The baby was named Dana, and Mary Alice wanted to give the baby a better life. So after getting the baby, she renamed him baby Zach, changed her name to Mary Alice and they moved to Wisteria Lane.

However many years later, Deirdre reappeared on Mary Alice and Paul's doorstep, claiming that she was now sober and wanted her baby back.
Mary Alice was obviously distraught, as she had reared and grown to love the baby as her own, and so a fight broke out.
In the fight Mary Alice stabbed Deirdre killing her. Mary Alice and Paul then disposed of Deirdres body in a toy chest, which showed up again in a later episode.

Felicia Tilman was Martha Huber's [the woman Paul killed] sister. She used to work as a nurse, and recognised Mary Alice from when she was called Angela working in the center. She tells her sister Martha all she knows, [and I think she told her that Mary Alice had kidnapped a baby-not sure].
Martha is having financial difficulty and decides to secretly blackmail Mary Alice by sending her a note, "I know what you did" etc.
Mary Alice is convinced that everything is about to come out in the open, and so commits suicide.
Paul hires an investigator, and from the stationary used discovers that it was Martha who had been blackmailing his wife. He then kills Martha in a rage.

Felicia read her sister Martha's diary after she had died and discovered that her sister had been blackmailing Mary Alice. She correctly deduces that Paul killed her sister in an act of revenge of his wife's death.
This is why she framed Paul for her murder, and is still out to get him.

There is more background about the heroin addict Deirdre. She was pregnant to Mike Delfino, hence Mike is Zach's Dad. Mike was going to kill Paul, but after realising that Paul and Mary Alice loved and had reared his son really well, he decided against it.
Deirdre had a really really rich father i.e Zach's grandfather. He tried to get paul killed aswell, but failed. Zach inherited all his grandfather's wealth after turning off the life support on his grandfather.

I had to quit about 4 or so episodes in this season. It was finally the issue of deleting it from my RSS feed, because if it arrived via magical fairies I would end up watching it and hating myself afterwards.

I thought the exact same, she was the only one who was kind of low key this week and the build up to it makes complete sense (a rarity in DH world)

For some reason I have a feeling it was Mike, if Susan was in hospital he would have come back and I think it would have tied it up nicely since he had the chance at the beginning of the show. But maybe thats just wishful thinking that Mike would come back :P When is it back?

Remember a few weeks ago Paul's wife held a gun to susan when she tried to attack him with a baseball bat (i think). Her and Lee are the only too to be seen with guns.
