For me it would have to be Johnny Cash, way before my time but a legendary icon, and a man I would simply have loved to have met.

Glen Miller, so I could show him the great advances the aviation industry has made making planes safer since his ill fated last plane journey.
Freddie Mercury, so I could show him the great advances the medical industry has made in the treatment of Aids since his ill fated death and to show him the great advances the Gay rights campaginers have made to de marginalise Gay people.
William Shakespere, to show him the great advances in computing so he could use spell check the next time he writes a novel.

Having met and had a really fun night hanging out with Natty Wailer last weekend, I'd have to say Bob Marley.

Also on the list would have to be John Bonham... I mean imagine spending an entire day drinking with him before headin to a Zeppelin gig and rockin out. Amazing. :)
