Just wondering about gyms in galway as theres a fair chance i'll be heading to college there in september. Looking for one with a good selection of weights, can anyone recommend a good one?

    Cheers

Depends on where you are going to college really. If your going to NUIG theres ones closer to you on that side of the city and same if you are going to GMIT.

Also both colleges have their own gyms.

Heding up there myself to college too, hoping to join a gym as well. Galways City Gym is suppose to be good no pool though but good selection of free weights etc, Kingfisher nuig is great but the best equipment is in the Elite room and can only be used by people on scolorships, Nrg either Bohermore or Knocknacarra, you can use them both on the one membership so handy enough. Hearing good things about the salt hill hotel so will check it out as well. My advice is check them out and try them all out before hand.
