My stupid legs are long, so over the knee boots usually just about reach my knees and knee high ones are mid calf

I'll be wearing my fake suede ones (over knee) from Penneys again.

I might see are there in topshop in dublin or cork?

What would you wear with them?

They are not the easiest trend to pull off. I think they would look great with a tunic/dress
and coloured tights that match the boots. They could also be worn with skinny jeans.
For during the day, You could wear them with a long chunky knit cardi and dress.

Sure as hell am. Got a divine pair in Faith around this time last year and wore them to bits, so it's replacement time. :)

Not too high and worn with short skirts/leggings. I'll get plain auld black ones for versatility.

Did you go with a heel or platform?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 272 ✭✭angelxx

I went with a low heel and they went just above my knee, Wore them mostly with short skirts. As I said they are not the easiest trend to pull off, Your style is rock chick? Adapt them to your style and black goes with everything.

I took the plunge and bought a pair of Topshop suede over-the-knee boots! I was in two minds about whether I could pull them off (I'm 5'0" so there was an initial worry they might be crotch-grazing!), but they come to just the right height. They're lovely. :)

Are these anything like the Carvela ones you saw??

My boyfriend brought me into Brown Thomas last year and told me to pick something so I chose these boots! I'm still in love with them!
I've worn them with short floaty skirts, leggings, skinny jeans and even bodycon skirts sometimes!

I got a pair in River Island last year and they're the only thing I was looking forward to this winter! I seriously love over-the-knees. I wear them over my black skinny jeans in work but sometimes like to sex it up a bit!!! All part of the fun of dressing up!

They were €240 when I got them, saw them a few months later in House of Frazer in Birmingham for about £120ish. I'd say you'd get them far cheaper online now!

Saw some nice black ones in Next for only €66! They're probably not the best quality (didn't have time to try them on), but if you wanted to give over the knee a go and no break the bank, they could be an option. Can't see them on the site unfortunately.

Here's my €23 from Penneys one..
I have the "suede" flat ones they did last year too.

Oh my god, I LOVE those. Not loving the pricetag, though! Anyone know of anything similar for a bit less?
