Watched the Show the other night.. Autotune was funny.

Personally I think they've ruined the format of the show by having the Audience. The whole thing seems so staged..

..like the mental scottish guy & the girl who had a tuneful voice..

and the Blonde Madonna Girl who wasnt allowed to sing her 1st Choice as getting No's from the judges, then pleaded to get another chance. Emperor Cowell listened to his people & she sang again & was a resounding success!

Load of BS. Now more than ever that they have to entertain a Live Crowd.. who probably / definitely - had to pay to sit & watch it. Utter Joke.

The Auditions were the only bit that I liked watch as I could laugh at the never ending march of wierdo's. All gone now I'm afraid.

    Time to really stop watching.

It seems staged??? LOL! Ben Elton nailed the whole scenario in his 2006 book Chart Throb. The funniest thing is the transexual judge who is Ozzie and Sharon in one character.

I was hoping I wasnt the only one who noticed it on Saturday night. I thought it was terrible. Apparently now the media is saying they used it last year in the live shows. If they wanted someone off they could of autotuned them to sound worse...

... it would explain why Lloyd sounds oh so different [much better] live.

    Haha @ Ben Elton.

Nah.. I said seems so staged.. as in - they have pasteurised the colour beige.

Of course its staged - but they've upped it a gear. They may as well join a Wrestling Federation at this point.. :(

    LOL

X-Factor internet forums were bombarded with fans voicing their concerns after the broadcast, namely over 18-year old contestant Gamu Nhenug's audition of the Kartina and the Waves song Walking on Sunshine, which was autotuned beyond disregard.

Just wondering guys, what sort of contract do these people sign when they enter the competition... I assume that if Cowell is admitting this, then he must have himself legally covered by having the contestants sign a waiver to allow him to manipulate the show whatever way he chooses.... i.e. that the contestants sign away their right to a fair chance..

Alls i can say is autotune does my head in when its used in hiphop songs etc. If any good can come from xfactor, maybe its that it will finally kill the fad for autotune in some sort of backlash
