loosing weight on legs

    whats best for loosing weight on the legs.im using 2 machines in the gym,is it best to do,lets say 3 sets of 12 reps @ 30kg or 3 sets of 20 reps @ 60kg

    You can't spot reduce fat. With an appropriate diet you can lose fat all over your body. Where you store fat depends on your genetics.

    I'm guessing you have the weights mixed up, as more reps at a higher weight is obviously better.
    To be fair, you need to be doing a lot more than 2 excercises and don't just focus on legs, all weights burn energy, if you burn more than you take in, you'll lose weight.
