    hi guys,
Has anyone ever heard of cases where the stimulant like caffine (coffee, red bull), guarana, ginseng, have the opposite effect?

I have taken all of the above in order to get an added boost, but about 40-60minutes later am falling asleep with no effect at all.

I know they are not long term solutions, but its just for when am doing projects etc. Why would I fall asleep?

Im very skeptical about ginseng/garuna and id imagine you would either have to be taking them long term or in mega doses to really get an effect.

Caffeine works imho. if you usually drink coffee you'd have to dose it up. i know your in thesis mode (which i hope is going relatively smoothly for you) and i had to espresso it up A LOT to keep me functioning when i was trying to get mine done.

In terms of falling asleep - that may just be a mix of everything piling on top of you and my body always has ways of making me tired when i have so much to do left to do but know im so close. Iv never heard of these making you sleep (although overdosing on caffeine could have effect when it begins to wear off) but i could be wrong.

    This!

A lot of people who dont drink coffee but take stimulants get this high and crash much worse than those that dont / rarely drink coffee
