    It's a hoax - someone I know who's a radio researcher investigated it further and was advised there was camera trickery involved.

    Well old news at this stage OP, story was out yesterday

    Anyway, it was all over the radio shows yesterday

    The person who shot it managed to take a dodgy photo, sold the story to papers and then dumped the rat where it's claimed it was eaten by foxes.
    So the radio show researches can't do a followup story.

    Complete hoax and more fool you for starting a thread on it
