I was listening to good old Joe last week in the car. He came out with the following statements in the same breath...."Nothing has been proven against Ivor Callely" and "Noel Dempsey didnt do anything wrong" (in reference to taking the government jet on a spin)

Hmmmm....i wonder does he support fianna fail?:mad:

I think it was Gay Byrne who gave Joe the start on his radio programme, and I remember there being a lot of discussion on his very working class accent.
He has come a long way since then.
Hero is a bit ott though...

Well what Dempsey did was 100% wrong. It mightn't have been illegal but it was wrong. When people are struggling from day to day its disgraceful that this guy can show such disregard for citizens money.

Callely has admitted using receipts from a company that folded previously (due to human error). The Gardai are making further enquiries...we'll see what else is proven.
