Hey guys this may seem like a weird question but im planning on bringing my own dumbells to my gym since the ones in my gym only go up to 30kg.

I was thinking to just add plates to my own dumbells but I was just wondering if is that allowed or will I be stopped by the workers there?? I mean surely there's no reason for me to be stopped by them or is there??
    Thanks !.!

Brown tape + small plates = win

why don't you just ask the gym staff?

Why not simply ask the gym if they can invest in some heavier dumbbells?

Dumbbell handles + 5kg plates for the win.

It's a lot easier to apologise than to get permission.

I'd imagine the first thing they'll say is "no" if you ask, without even considering it. Chances are if you do it they won't even notice.
