I came up with an idea to blend cottage cheese with 5-10g of chocolate protein powder. It has creamy consistency and taste not bad, kinda like pudding but there is really strong salty aftertaste, which isn't pleasant and really kills the flavour.

Does anyone know where to get a low sodium cottage cheese ?

    These would work perfect.

Not being smart, but why not just try ordinary chocolate mousse or similar?

Eating a chocolate mousse every other day for my last meal before bed time wouldn't be too good for me ;)

I've got a recipe for chocolate mousse which is pretty much egg and cocoa.

But have you tried the Polish cottage cheeses? They always seem to me to taste a lot less salty then the normal Irish ones. Also, the lower in fat, they more likely they are to add extra salt. Higher fat ones should be better.

Sounds interesting. I'd love to try your recipe if you don't mind.

Whisk egg white till stiff and fluffy.
Mix spoonful or so of cocoa with a enough warm coffee to make smooth paste. Whisk in egg yolk and sweetener to taste.
Fold into egg white, chill or freeze.
