Why do you use After Hours?

Personally, I use it to escape. I can behave like a two year old, comfortable in the knowledge that I'll never have to engage with ye as real people (beers excepted). I can make totally irrational arguments, and when I've been beaten out of my position, I can just log off or move to a different thread without having to apologise for my lamentable ignorance.
So, why does everyone else use AH?

Oh, and I find it informative too in a way that most newspapers aren't.:)
