    Game stop had exclusive preorder content for the last game. I'd assume it will be likewise this time.

    I pretty much don't do preorder bonuses (and therefore now preordering) out of protest.

    I want to buy the game and get the game.

    If you'd played SF as long as I have now you'd know why :D

    I never do pre-order. I don't agree with the principle and won't support it.

    Generally.

    I'm willing to sacrifice my own principles to get that G1 Prime skin. I don't care if that makes me a hypocrite I only care that I get that G1 Prime skin.

    I'm with Doom in that I just don't 'do' DLC. I think the most cynical case of it was the latest Mortal Kombat reboot. There were additional characters to purchase for $4 a pop from the word go. So it's not like they came up with them at a later date and decided to sell them. They just decided to nab a bit more money from hardcore fans.
    DLC ruined Dawn of war: The Last Stand as well. The game was incredibly well balanced until they invented new and better items which players could purchase via DLC. Those of use who refused to pay up got left behind :mad:

    This just in: Hasbro UK said you can't have a lie in either.

    They did indicate at Toy Fair that they intended to release the first three FOC Dxs here, and an email in the last week or so indicated their continuing intent.....

    Shockwave is really a fairly average figure, with some novelty value.

    Prime just gives you that 'Didn't they do this better, two years ago' feeling.

    .. and Jazz. Yeah... Jazz. Oh well.

    Damn. I haven't bought any figures in a very long time. I bought about 5 of the generations line that didnt get released over here when i was on holiday in Thailand about 1 and a half year ago.     Wave 1 toys have been spotted at retail in the UK.


    And people can argue the merits/demerits back and forth.....i've had them a month or so, and they ARE smaller, with less mass, than previous Deluxes.

    Ah here... just got home and fired up Steam intending to let it download while I have dinner and, while it's released in North America today, now it says I won't get it until Thursday??

    WTF.. what's the point of buying it as a digital download if you still have to wait?

    Reviews have been very positive thus far. Mostly 9/10s. I seem to recall WforC being well received, but mostly 7s or 8s.

    Yeah same here. Will give it six weeks and see what the price is. I've got a huge backlog of games so don't need it right now. I'd like to get it whilst the multiplayer community is still thriving though.

    I guess I'm in the same boat as I can't justify spending €50 or more on a game so i wait for a significant price drop. Having jumped on the PS3 bandwagon late (it had been out nearly two years by the time I got one), there was already a massive backlog of quality games at affordable prices. I'm happy enough to scavenge GameStop and bargain buckets for my gaming fix. That said, by the time I get on board with a game the online community has usually moved on, so I'm shooting myself in the foot in that respect.
