    Hi all,
I've had a few injuries recently (groin/hamstring) and I've been advised to get compression shorts, mainly for playing soccer. The "Skins" brand had been recommended and I notice they offer both compression shorts and compression 1/2 tights which are a little longer. Ant idea which would be most suitable for me given my specific injuries and sport?
    Thanks!

the compression shorts are not going to do much unless you foam roll and stretch the area you have issues with and add in mobility/strengthening work.

The compression stuff is band aid approach at best

Possibly should create a new thread rather than bumping up an old one but I'm also having some issue's with my hamstring of late.
Had some physio on it and been doing some strenghtening exercises but also looking into the idea of compression shorts.

So can anyone recommend one that they use or know thats decent?
(Hamstring injury is stretching related as opposed to sprinting related if that makes a difference to the type of shorts)

They increase blood slightly. Some people swear by them for recovery.
But I don't think they'll have any noticeable effect on an injury. What ever issue you have that is causing the problem will still be there.

Compression gear is more of comfort, warming up, maybe marginal movement improvements. Not an injury rehab tool.
I really only wear mine when it's cold, or sometimes for grappling.
