    Hi again,

Another question for you smart lot.

I eat alot of fruit which causes my carb count on fitday to go nuts (fructose I suspect ) - although I realise blood sugar increases perhaps causing cravings when they drop.

I always felt alot of fruit is a good thing no ?

secondly - how do I know how much good fats to have ?
i.e. today for lunch I had a salad, dressed with virgin olive oil - some seeds - an egg and a 1/2 avocado are the olive oil and avocado too much fat together ?

btw strawberries in a mixed salad - yum yum !

    Thanks again
    RaM

    Those fats sound fine.

Fruit is good, but it's possible to go overboard. How much are you talking about?

As much as possible, I'd stick to local fruit; strawberries, apples, pears, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, gooseberries etc, and go easy on things like bananas, kiwi, melon etc which is very sweet and has a lot of airmiles.

How much fruit is dependent on so many factors, activity levels, tolerance for fructose etc.

I think that's a question that can only be answered with an n=1 self-experiment. How do you feel? Are you losing weight? This will all lead you to how much you can get away with.

Fat is pretty self limiting if you stick to the good, unprocessed kind, too much will give you loose stools so your body will let you know generally.
