Loaded with machines and cardio equipment, tiny cramped free weights area and its quiet a busy gym so there usually is a wait for equipment

    What are you looking for??

The Maradyke is a good gym loads of free weights but can be very busy

FitnessWorx in douglas has everything you could need in terms of exercise and fitness but the changing rooms can be off-putting to people.

I would second Fitnessworx in douglas. Last time I was home it catered for everything I needed. Even has a set of monkey bars :p

Fitness Worx, it's one of my favourite gyms in Cork. Plenty of weight, at least 8 oly bars and all other sorts of niceys. When I used to go it was 6 I think. They have a steam room and a plunge pool aswell.

    Hey Folks,

As this thread is quite old it seems that a few of the gyms listed are now only membership only.

Anybody know of any other gyms that do pay as you go ?
