A Few films that are so bad, cheesey, annoying, cringey, but you cant turn them off because you want to see how crap they are.
Con Air - With the worst actor of all time
Titanic - Oh God, "king of the world"
Pirates of the Carribbean - just awful
P.S, I Love you - Pure shíte, but hilarious, yer mans accent is brilliant

    Any more ?

You haven't even realized the potential of terrible movies. Let me take you by the hand on this one.

The Room pretty much completely owns this category. Not a thing comes even close to it's ludicrous, dreadful charms. For example, the single worst scene ever committed to celluloid, and there is not a hint of hyperbole in that sentence. 19 seconds, and you'll be amazed at how much worthless, incompetent but hilarious exposition can be jammed into that amount of time.

Plan 9 From Outer Space is another one - so profoundly dreadful.

And there's always Reefer Madness, propaganda / agenda film-making taking to it's ludicrous extreme:

because as well as being rubbish I didn't get any ironic enjoyment out of it as a result. Just a lot of clock-watching.

 not one of those comes anywhere close to "so bad its good" territory.

I'd like to add Jaws: The Revenge, its sh1t on a spectacular level. A roaring shark, some of the worst special effects ever, the idea that a shark can hold a grudge to the point where it manages to swim from upstate New York to the Bahamas over a weekend, which are on the opposite ends of the country. The ending is also hilarious, it was edited heavily as the original where Mrs Brody skewers the shark on the broken bow of a ship was deemed too violent, so now...the shark explodes, and we get reused footage from the first Jaws to show its death, its so funny I watch it every time its on tv.

I find it hard to say of films like 'The Room' and 'Plan 9' that they're the worst films of all time. They are by far the worst films I've seen in terms of quality but both filmmakers (Tommy Wiseau and Ed Wood) both actually tried to create good movies which, sadly, can't be said for a lot of movies these days. And both these films are ridiculously more entertaining then what passes now a days. Also I DID NAAAWT!

    NO.

This is just so bad it's bad.

No pleasure should be derived by any right-thinking adult from this piece of offensive drivel.

    Sh*te. Sh*te. And thrice Sh*te.

I can't believe that nobody has mentioned 'Showgirls' yet.....

In the category of 'aiming to be so bad that it's good' (does that disqualify it?), I really enjoyed Planet Terror and 'Mars Attacks'.

My fave guilty pleasure has to be 'Flash Gordon' (1982)

Ah come on lads, most of the films mentioned in this thread are actually alright.

For me the ultimate so bad its good film is a classic from the 50's called Robot Monster

A guy in a gorilla constume and a fish bowl on his head stalks the worst actors of all time. We have horrible stock footage, hilarious weapons and a radio that constantly produces bubbles. It's side splittingly funny throughout. I think everyone should see this.

Land of the Lost. I'm assuming Ferrell read the script at some point, in which case i can only conclude that he is genuinely a bit cracked.

G.I.Joe. It was perfect in that most of the cast seem to have all the personality of the action figures they're trying to sell.

Utterly tongue in cheek from the very start, just couldn't compete with the lure of CG dinosaurs.

Ah yeah, it's easy to pick the likes of The Room and Plan 9 etc but when it comes to pure blockbuster-bad-it's-good sh1te ya gotta go with Stealth. It's awesomely bad:

no LAH was just years ahead of its time, its brilliant. Audiences didnt get it, expecting an actual Arnie movie, instead they got him completely taking the piss out of action persona, theres so many awesome movie injokes in there. The Lethal Weapon theme playing when the cop who gets blown up is whinging he only had 2 days to retirement is just one example.

A fantastic movie. Basically any movie shown on the Sci-Fi channel.

The Gingerdead man is the first movie that pops up when I think of this class of movie.

The 2002 remake of Killer Bees is also worth a watch.

But my all time favourite is Killdozer.

You should check out The Editing Room's "abridged" script, it's brilliant:
BARRY PEPPER and various DIRTY HUMANS sit around a fire, being dirty and primitive. The camera man falls asleep and the picture is tilted. This continues throughout the movie.

Ah I thought Land of the Lost was genuinely funny. Its very weird but I have watched it so many times at this stage and still lol at the crab, and the mosquito, and the dinosaur piss! Great film.

Also Big Trouble in Little China getting mentions???! That film was an institution in my house growing up. Its just great, nothing bad about it at all!

I would probably put films like Bad Boys into this category. I know its pure cheese, but I still watch it every chance I get.

love the editing room :pac: Think my favourite was the 8 mile one... http://www.the-editing-room.com/8mile.html

Mine would have to be: Turbulence with Ray liotta - it features such plot devices as the 2 pilots going missing from cockpit, air hostess flying the plane, and liotta getting killed literally 10 times and still gettting back up. Must see! [the scary thing is this was only 7 years after goodfellas!]

Also Tango & Cash, and of that ilk.
some of the best bits in this clip :D

Big Trouble in Little China is just an awesome movie . . Alot of it was tongue in cheek . . Dont mind people not enjoying it, but anybody that think it was so bad it was good simply misunderstood the humour and just didnt get the movie . .

Indeed, plus its got everything a movie should have, Kurt Russell being cool, a badass sidekick who's really the hero of the movie ( a nice twist on the usual buddy cliche, the "hero" of the movie is an imcomptent bumbler who flukes his way through the film, he spends half the final showdown stuck on a guy he stabbed :D) plus it has ninjas, Chinese mythology, black magic, sorcerors, monsters, kung fu, mid air sword fights, gangfights, supernatural badasses who can control the weather and lightning, a 7ft tall villain who shoots light out of his eyes, a batty old guy in a wheelchair, whats not to like!:D

Haven't seen any Uwe Boll movies, but I have seen Plan 9 From Outer Space... And my choice for the most "So bad it's good" movie has to be...

    The Wizard

Cheesy acting and dialogue, full of little plot problems (not quite inconsistencies, but you know silly things), a terribly written bad guy, ridiculous father-son-relationship between the dad and Christian Slater and the fact that the whole thing was basically a giant ad for Nintendo, with the awful cringeworth when they worship Super Mario Bros 3, with Fred Savage and the girl they were with shouting out little selling points at it ("Get the warp! Get the warp!" even though they'd never seen the game before)

...but for some reason I watched it through to the end and can't say I didn't enjoy it, even when I was rewatching it recently...

And stop bad-mouthing Total Recall, that's a brilliant movie! Take your point about Commando, though
