Ok I've had hemorrhoids the last few months and have been avoiding the gym. I was just wondering if it would be a good idea to avoid the gym completely. Could I do some weight lifting exercises that wont affect the hemorrhoids?

Excuse the ignorance, but why would weighs effect the hemorrhoids?

i think bearing down and general exertion upsets them, not sure what to advise op. My own sister had one lasered off when it got too uncomfortable to sit on a hard chair, would you consider something like that?

Im going too have to close this. This would be seen as medical advice and is against the forum charter.
I would advise contacting a GP for further advise on the matter.

    Thanks.
