Lough Derg Boating Question

    Hi there folks,

Myself and a group of friends are renting two boats to spend three days exploring Lough Derg. We intend to do a few stop offs to go for food/drinks over the few days. We haven't done it before and are pretty clueless as to the good spots of the area.

If anyone has any experience in that neck of the woods, any recommendations on an itinerary would be greatly appreciated! Mostly just what places would be good for heading out in at night and where would have daytime activities.

Any info at all would be fantastic!

    Many many thanks,

    Dave.

My vote is for Dromineer, there is a really nice pub there that does good pub grub, not much else....but what else do you need?! They usually have music Sat nights but it can be quiet midweek.

After that Garrykennedy is a really pretty spot too, again nice bars and food. Bit more going on than Dromineer....

    Have fun!
