BlackVPN iPad Setup

    I signed up to Black VPN this evening and when I tried to log in to my account its coming up "You were disconnected by the communication device. Try reconnecting. If the problem persists, verify your settings."

    I wouldn't be that savvy but I have triple checked and checked again and I definitely have all the info in correctly (afaik).

    Does anyone know what the problem might be?
    No word back from BlackVPN support.

    No word back from BlackVPN support.

    Almost certainly a router setting, preventing it. For example I can use mine fine with 3IRL or Tre Italia or indeed Eircon, but am blocked at home by TalkTalk UK.

    I have the same issue. I can connect to BlackVPN using my laptop, but not with my iPhone. I can connect if I connect using Edge or 3g first, unfortunately the reception on the iPhone where I live is very bad, so I have only had Edge coverage once to try this.
    I originally thought it was a router setting too, but the fact that I can always connect using the laptop means that this is not the case.
    BlackVPN support had no idea what is wrong

    I was having the same problem but a reboot of the router fixed it. If ye haven't tried that yet then give it a go.

    Ditto signed, up for blackvpn. Tried bbc iplayer both the app, it asks do I want to subscribe and the website which says only available in the uk. Any advice please. I have restarted by eircom router.

    My advice is to use openvpn instead.

    Got it working, my own fault I was connected to .com iPad server instead of .co.uk. Stupid I know.

    I am connecting from Italy. The iphone and mac connect perfectly (openvpn) but I the ipad comes up with this error message: "You were disconnected by the communication device. Try reconnecting. If the problem persists, verify your settings."

    I'm hoping for a solution. Thanks....
