Can anyone recommend a place to buy these now that Irish Lifting doesnt seem to stock them anymore?

they might not have them on the website but 'Fighting Fit' shop on Camden Street does stock them. Only €15 too so cheaper than online from elsewhere.

Thats them, but I need the Level 1s. Ill have a gander at ebay. I was hoping there was something local though. Dublin is a long way away however.
Plus I bought all the other stuff from Irish lifting, its a pity they dont do them anymore.

EDIT: Just saw the bit in the ebay ad "all numbers"

If I was getting ones now it would be the John Brookfield ones, the jb-gripper. They have extensions so 1 gripper can replace several, and it is more versatile doing 2 hands at once etc.

I made extensions for my own and they are very useful.

Is buying them from ironmind a no-no cause of the shipping cost?

Ironmind use pullum sports in the uk afaik but I always found pullum sports to be a little expensive.

However I would say on the coc's that these are a lifetime purchase - you won't break it with your hands so unless you lose them they'll be with you a long time.

They are a bit depressing however - might have to get the in between ones as off the bat I could close the #2 but forget the #3 - pipe dream!:D

This is why the extended ones are great, you can use it down the bottom for a warmup and then move up to whatever rep range you want, i.e. move it up until you can manage 8-12 closes which allows you to go through full ROM. If you start on a hard one it would be like a beginner going to the gym each day trying to deadlift 150kg, if you only have 2 grippers it would be like having fixed barbells, 50kg, 100kg, 150kg, while the extension allows tiny progressions, you can put marks on them to remember where your fingers were placed the last time.

Seem to be good value all though it wouldnt be hard to beat pullum sports, absolute rip off. Yeah 3 is so tough, i got number 4 its a joke, how someone could actually have the grip strength to close it is insane.

Hi Jumpy,

'Fighting Fit' is a shop run by the same people as Irish Lifting. Even if IL don't have them on the website they have some in the shop and might agree to post them down to you if you ring up and have a chat.
