    Mine just arrived!
Can't wait to play... had an Android already, we won't go there. Don't trust mini phones

Anyone have this phone? Any tips? :D

PandaHome (or LauncherPro) is really the only must-have app specifically for the Spica. The default home screen is awful.

If you don't have a data-plan, the APNOnOff widget (or APNDroid) is a must, so you don't run up ridiculous charges. After that, it's mostly personal preference. Ones that I'd recommend are:
    • DialerOne - replaces the default dialpad and contacts, much better imo
    • Gemini Calendar - the stock calendar isn't great, Gemini goes a long, long way to make up for its short-comings
    • Handcent SMS - much better than the default messaging app

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

    Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/boardsie-enhancement-suite/

    Chrome/Edge/Opera: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/boardsie-enhancement-suit/bbgnmnfagihoohjkofdnofcfmkpdmmce

    Thanks :)

I have used PandaHome and Handcent on my other handset - so will be using them for sure!

Also have a few other apps I can't live without!

Oh, and download the Mini Info widget. Tells you how much battery, SD card space and (most importantly) how much application space you have left. Keep at least 10% free (14MB on mine). I find if you have any less than that, the phone slows to an absolute crawl, and you won't be able to sync with your google apps or download new apps from the market

    Thanks for the tips!

    I can't get onto anything 3G yet :( I think it's because I'm not registered yet..
