    Info before hand:
    6" , size 14

    Hey guys,
the diet/exercise is going well i think.
I read something where it says you should lose fat before toning?
I dont wanna look bulk etc
So im walking and now, ive taken up the gym.
Im wondering what is cardio? what can i do in regards to losing fat?

and what exercises can i do to burn fat from: chest, back, arms(i dont wanna end up looking like a body builder, i want skinny toned arms), stomach, love handles, butt and thighs/legs???

    Will spinning classes help too?

I was thinking walking 3 miles everyday, Gym 2/3 days a week, and then this:

x150 sit ups - do they work ? do they get rid of belly fat?
x150 squats - again, do they get rid of thigh/butt fat??
    x50 push ups
x150 love handle ex with weights

also guys, how do you tone "chimpmunk" cheeks and neck???

    ???? help me - i wanna be skinny toned - not bulked!!!

I'd suggest reading back over the threads you've posted here before - in which several posters told you that spot reduction of fat is a myth. You've been given some excellent advice from B-Builder and will heffernan, you should really take on board what you've been told before.

+1 to the above - the other threads you already posted in recent times have all the advice you need tbh.

I'm assuming you are female, in which case there is NO danger of you getting "bulked" It takes a female bodybuilder, one who is genetically gifted to start with, years of hard work, heavy lifting and dedication, to get within an ass's roar of looking bulked.

One of my favourite quotes is from Charles Glass "A woman has to lift like she wants to be a champion bodybuilder just to look toned".

Forget the endless reps with light weights. Get into the pit and lift real weights. Build your workout on barbell squats, deadlifts, bench press, military press, rows, pull-ups, dips, stiff leg deadlifts, lunges, woodchoppers.

Endless sit-ups will not burn fat. Actually, one of the best exercises for burning fat AND working all your core muscles is the squat.

Spinning classes will help, but you still need to lift weights.

I teach spinning classes part time, and while they are an excellent way of reducing fat, you do need to do other things, e.g. weight training, other forms of cardio, etc.

When I teach classes, I see a fair few regulars week after week. This is fine as some of them actually do outdoor cycling and other forms of cardio, but there are a few who only do spinning classes, and nothing else! This is bad as your body adapts to a type of exercise very quickly, and you stop seeing as many results from it.

Constantly change the type of cardio you do - keep your body guessing. E.g. spinning class one day a week, Cross-trainer another day, outdoor jogging another day, rowing machine another day. The same applies for weight training.

Don't neglect flexibility either - it is very important in preventing injury, etc.

I'm assuming your female, so I wouldn't worry about being bulked looking. Females don't have the hormones for it, unless they take hormones (e.g. female bodybuilders). You won't look bulked.

You also can't spot reduce fat - put in the work and you will see results. Remember, a motivated person could lose weight without feeling hungry, without counting calories and without feeling reluctant about doing exercise. You can do that too.

Like a lot of people, and I am guilty of this too, you seem to be putting a lot effort in planning out your weight loss rather than actually doing it. Just do it, as Nike would say. Start tomorrow morning. Get your diet in order, then get your exercise in order.

    Best of luck!
