1. Golf course about two miles down the road.

2. If you are interested in sailing, the sailing club at Rosmoney has races each Thursday evening and crew always welcome.

3. Large selection of beaches, most safe for swimming.

4. Hire a bike and explore the area.

5. If thinking of climbing Croagh Patrick do not leave it too late in the day.

6. the cinema, it's right beside the lesure center on james street .

7. there are severial nice restrants in the town .

8. i think the rugby club mite be holding there tag rugby tournament atthis time of year if they are you could turn up there as all newcomers are welcome
