:) Hi, hopefully I'm on the right site at last..

I'm looking for any information re the BSC IT Support CR_KITSU7. It's an evening course at CIT done in one year.

I have some prior learnings that I think I can use but I'm not sure how many of the electives I will need to do with the Mandatory modules.

    Any help is appreciated..

The BSc in IT Support CR_KITSU_7 is a one-year add-on degree for full-time students. The entry requirement for the BSc in IT Support is a Higher Cert in IT Support or equivalent (120 credits). The add-on BSc in IT Support requires an extra sixty credits which means completing twelve five-credit modules.

However, if you plan to do the BSc in IT Support CR_KITSE_7 in the evening, you will need two years to complete the twelve modules as you will be doing the course on a part-time basis.

The twelve modules consist of eight mandatory modules and four elective modules.

    1. Mandatory modules (8 modules)
Six of these modules are taught modules.

Two modules - Project Specification and Project Implementation - are completed with the help of a project supervisor.

    2. Elective modules (4 modules):
Two modules must be cognate electives - one from each list of group electives.

Two modules are free-choice. (Most students usually tend to take extra group electives as their free-choice elective as these modules are considered the most useful/relevant options available.)

    Hi Ng1

Thanks for the comprehensive reply. You've saved me a lot of time.
It might be a better idea to do two years (less intensive maybe) I tried looking for CR_KITSE_7 but its routing back to CR_KITSU_7 Is it the same course?

Maybe I should be looking towards the CR_KCOME_7 altogether but as Im working I would probably find the Programming a bit hard.

    Not sure what to do.....

Again thanks for your time and efforts

for Higher Cert in IT The Programming is Only Visual Basic.
if your going doing the higher Cert in Computing it would be Visual Basic with C++ and Java in Year 2.

VB is very easy. if you download a Visual Basic ebook and start reading it you be well ahead.

all you need to do is Programming 1 for Cert in IT, Programming 2 is up to your self if you do it or not.
