platering external walls

    Hi all i'm plastering two walls at the front of the house a diy job going to have white raised plint on the bottom of the walls and peers also going to have plint going up the edge of the peers in white cement and the wall will be white wet dashed finish.i am looking for some advice on plastering the plints need white cement and sand was wondering could anyone tell me what kind of white sand should i get for this and is there anything i should look out for when applying like stains or rain efect.
