I am stealing this from another thread where a person felt it was not right for people to drink cows milk?

    Thoughts?

    Ohh, can of worms tbh.

I guess in the strict sense of the word we are not designed as adult humans to consume the food that was designed for baby cows.

Having said that, we as a human species owe our success to being very adaptable. That might include stealing nutrients (vitamin K2, vitamin D, iodine, calcium, high quality fat ) from another species' milk if it gives some advantage to us.

But casein does seem to be a problem with people with auto-immune diseases (leaky gut).

Me, I get a lot of my fat from pastured dairy, I try to minimise my casein and lactose by choosing high fat sources like cream, butter and yoghurt. I am partial to a little cheese so I do indulge from time to time, but I don't have any allergies to dairy. Others might not be so lucky.
