let me just go and dig out that monopoly money to pay for the insurance and possible rent on land to start with......o wait no that is not going to work
nice idea but unfortunately not going to work, maybe non profit clubs but never free0 -

Hi Lads,s Comrade's and all Airsofter's!!!Any one have any idea how to make airsofting free in this lovely country?We payed for guns and rest of gear for the shop's, what they did for us?Just rise prices for what we need end for what htey have! IAA what they did for us ? For you? Are you got better place for play? Are you got cheaper cost for yours hobby!
WE HAVE 200 REAL AIRSOFTERS IN IRELAND!!!! AND WE ARE SO QUITE AND WE GOING TO PLAY TO ANY NEW PLACE WITH HOPE : THERE WILL BE BETTER.
I CALL TO ALL , AIRSOFT SCHOULD BE FREE FOR ALL OVER 18.
LETS FIND THE PLACE FOR ALL!!!!

Dude....every site let's players play for free sometime or another.... but we all have bills to pay.... and then you have The Get Out and Skirmish days as well.... so you are talking out of your butt.... imho
If you feel so strong about it open a site for free and pay for it out of your own pocket!0 -

You don't seem to understand the concept of expenses eg. insurance.
Insurance costs money
Players pay money
Then the site is insured
Ie. legalthey making money from you
It's called business, the business sells a product/service and you buy it. It's been around for centuries.0 -

Also i would like to add, most sites make enough just to get by. ie. Insurance costs, rent.....
Most of the sites are doing us a favour just being open and especially in the times we are in. I don't think we can ask for much more

Airsoft for free? Go for it. While you're at it, there's this AEG that I've been meaning to buy (actually, 12 of them...and a couple of GBB's) that I would like for free. Would you mind? I know they all cost money, but that doesn't seem to be an object 0

You trade your walk on fee for the right to play on a private, insured location, where you will not be arrested for wielding your airsoft equipment in a public place. 0 -

Everyone makes money for and from everyone else. It's called an economy. It's in the shítter right now, but it's the basis of the entire worlds monetary system
Track your idea the whole way back, no-one should make money from this. This would mean you'd expect factories to pump out devices for free distribution to the world airsoft market, to be used on free sites whose insurance is donated for free by various companies, and whose land is donated for free by the government, who aren't getting tax from us because there's no money being made.
I'm pretty sure paying twenty to thirty quid for an entire day's worth of fun with good people is not something people are going to begrudge the sites. After all, it's sodding fifty bucks to get into a football game, and that's only an hour and a bit of entertainment.

Not at all....anything for an airsofter.
Pop in tomorrow and I'll sort you out. I spoke to my landlord...he's cool with not getting rent. And the kids are happy not to eat for awhile. And of course the bank have told me to forget about the mortgage, and that they were only kidding about those repayments. When you're done picking up the guns, we'll go along to pick up my new Porsche, yeah 0 -
