Subject selections and deferrals

Does anyone know if its possible for deferrals to affect your subject selection? I'm sitting 2 exams next week I had to defer (Biology paper 2 & EOS), 2nd year registration is online from 24th Aug, but Autumn results aren't released until 8th Sept. Does anyone know if its possible for deferrals to affect your subject selection? I'm sitting 2 exams next week I had to defer (Biology paper 2 & EOS), 2nd year registration is online from 24th Aug, but Autumn results aren't released until 8th Sept.
My subject choices are Zoology and EOS, will I be able to register for these modules on the 24th, and provided I pass my exams, get into them? Or, will I have to wait to register until I get my results to see if I passed Bio and EOS overall?
I'm pretty happy I'll pass as my summer results were good, I'm just wondering if it's going to mess up/complicate 2nd year reg in any way?
