    Hi
LC forum said to me ask this here:rolleyes:

See, my dilemma is : Should I repeat and go through it all againfrown.gif - or take a course in CIT and then try and switch over to UCC Arts after a year in CIT? Is that possible?

Why would you want to switch to UCC arts? - I know too many people that done it and needed go further again after that? The point being, do you really want to do UCC arts in the first place?

What exactly do you want to do in life? - please don't go into arts for the "sake" of it.

Because thats what I want. I dont want CIT but I dont wanna repeat either and I dont wanna go back at 23......
I wanna do Journalism and Broadcasting - perhaps teaching down the line. Im not going into it for the "sake" of it. I actually want the arts.
So, can I take a course in CIT and then switch? Or do I have to repeat ?

Apologies yeah bit late last night posting that.

Ah I'm not quite sure really. I'm not sure what the equivalent of UCC arts in CIT would be so I'm not sure there's a course to switch from if you know what I mean.

I think the best option would be to just repeat and go directly in to UCC if that's what you want. I'll ask around anyways. Let's see if someone else here has any suggestions too.

Ok so just so I know the situation, you are getting your results on Wednesday?
Did you put down UCC arts on your CAO form? or is it you are afraid you won't get the points for it?
What course(s) would you do in CIT? or is it anything?

Based on what you said in the first post, I would repeat, not go to do a year in CIT.

just go to CIT, I know way to many people that went to UCC and left only to do Course's in CIT. CIT ain't that bad of a place.

like anything its up to the Person them selfs to make what they can with what they have.

If you dont get the points for UCC so what.. Maybe in the long run it would work out for the best.
UCC anyway is not that great for hands on, they are more of a Sit down shut up and Listen to what i have to say!
