Just spotted this on the MyProtein email.....

    http://www.myprotein.co.uk/products/one_protein_water

Interesting to say the least. 40g of whey protein and only 174 cals per 500ml bottle is pretty impressive.
    Nutritional Information
    Per 500ml bottle:
    Energy: 174.0Kcal
    Energy: 740KJ
    Protein: 40.0g
    Carbohydrates: 2.0g
    (of which Sugars): nil
    Fat: nil
    Fibre: nil
    Sodium: 361.5mg

There is normally the option to purchase an individual pack when it comes to new products, but it looks as if they can only be ordered in packs of 12 right now. If a tester option pops up I'll probably give it a try.

£23 for less than half a kilo of whey? Sweet

I've had something similar before, it was hard to drink and left a horrible aftertaste

I can imagine, but to be fair to MyProtein the majority of the products I have tried from them have been at least tolerable, with some being quite tasty.

    Lemon & Lime Flavour:
Pure Filtered Water, Cross Flow Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate, Citric Acid, Natural Flavouring, Acidity Regulator (Tri-sodium Citrate), Preservatives (Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate), Sweetener (Sucralose).

    Serious bargain.

Not really sure why you think that's impressive. 40g protein = c.160cals, the small bit left over is from carbs etc
For the same price you could get 4-5x the amount in powder

I'd pick one up in the shop if out for a quick fix, but wouldn't stock up as I can't see a need

42g of protein per vial. 176 calories per vial.

I don't know how big a vial is however.
