    i used to work in a call centre and the peoples names would show up on screen when they rang in. sometimes you'd get some hilarious names pop up on screen, and just wondered if anyone has come across any unfortunate names or just ridiculous ones... :D:D

    some of the ones i saw were

    Fanny Fuchs :eek::pac:

    and recently came across this (haha, wont actually let the link work cos the word "cvnt" is in it)!!

    The worst I saw in my call centre days was 'Cockburn'. I can't remember his 1st name, think it was something normal like 'Dave'.

    yeah, I remember asking him to confirm his name when he used to ring in and he pronounced it as you did, I thought he was just too embarrassed/ London posh to pronounce it as spelled.

    That would be fine, except here in Donegal we pronounce it Boner.... never thought it was strange until I moved out of the county and realised other people pronounce it BON-NER

    there was also someone called "Mary Clabby" and once when i was in the airport the announcement was calling for
