    I always thought we were due for another astroid attack soon and we'd all be wiped out.

    Humanity will destroy itself looooonnnnng before the world ends. My guess is nuclear war. The world itself will end in 5 billions years, when the sun consumes the planet in a fireball. :)

    it'll overheat until it is uninhabitable by humans. Then it'll cool down and evolution will pretty much begin again.

    Even if an asteroid doesn't wipe us all out, humanity will still become extinct within the next few centuries, only it will be a slow and agonizing death. And with the way we've wrecked this planet we deserve nothing less.

    War wouldnt end humanity as there would be a handful of survivors (mind you the nuclear winter/summer might mean theres very few)

    Natural disaster is a possibility but disease is more likely

    Most scientists predict it will end in 30 billion years, possibly by a 'big crunch' where after the universe expands to some maximum, it will start to contract ending up back at a similar singularity like just before the big bang.

    Humanity cannot survive the conditions of a contraction so I wouldn't worry about it.
