Im not i decided to get up early and make the most of this day of fun and wonder!! but i have made my way onto boards.................and my OH probably wont be awake for another 3-4 hours. so ill probably get bored and go back to bed to annoy her
Oh, and i have taken tomorrow off too, and next friday...............and the following monday!!!

I'm back in my HQ after 8 weeks of working off site. I'm the only one here and I have never had to let myself in before so I set the alarm off and nobody would answer their phones. Eventually got someone and got the alarm off but someone was probably called and asked to respond so they could come bursting in ninja style any minute.

Now I don't remember my email password, and I'm the IT guy and I can't even reset it because it goes through another country.

So just left is to spend the day in a big office all alone watching movies, could be worse.

No, that's just how it works in France. You get the bank holiday the exact date it falls. So if it's Sunday, too bad! You don't get replacement days.

What I hate about Saturday public hols here, is that you go through an entire weekend without a single shop open.

Quite painful if you don't make the supermarket on the Friday.

Don't you guys get alot of holidays over there anyway? I'm working anyhow. Rare that I work a bank holiday though so I don't mind so much.

In theory we get a few, but it's a lottery as to whether we actually get any days off in a given year.

At least the sun is back out and lunch is nearly here.
