    Hey folks

Just moved to Crosshaven and want to get into this sailing malarky. I'm a bit short on funds so I was advised a good way is to volunteer for crewing but don't really know how it all works so looking for a bit of advice.

I'm experienced in the sea, I'm a keen surfer, kayaker, open water swimmer and done a fair amount of diving.

The only slight downside is I've only been on a proper sailing boat once so would just be a grunt who needed telling what to do.

Is there any hope for me? Or do I need to put this on hold until I can get on a course?

    Cheers
    SJ
