    What's your view on this?

I've been using one for about 7 months now and the results are good - I just wonder if it's really the right way to go. It's not sustainable long term as it's pricey but I'm not sure if I'd ever push myself as hard on my own. I sometimes think it's a bit of a cop out - that I shouldn't need one. Then again results are results...

Do you think it should be time limited thing or something that some people just need to motivate themselves?

If you're getting results then stick with it, some people need that extra push you get from a PT. But it'd be no harm to look at cutting down your sessions and working it on a monthly review basis instead. That way you can see how you fare on your own and you'd still have the motivation of a monthly check up.

Even though Im in the business myself. I would say most clients will not be with you long term. A personal trainer should give you the skills and knowledge to do it on your own. I agree with the other poster, try cutting it down and see how you do on your own.

Try signing yourself up for a race, the adidas series races are on now over the summer and autumn in the run up to the marathon. Something like that is great to motivate yourself. Or else try joining a class for motivation.

If it doesnt work out you can always go back to the personal trainer. Good luck with it either way.

    Hi All

While discussing the general/average cost of a PT session is something that has been posted on this forum previously, discussions of the actual rates of Personal Trainers/coaches who post on this forum is not to be discussed.

Anybody wishing to know how much a specific personal trainer or coach charges per session should contact that trainer/coach personally, either by sending them a PM from this forum, or by contacting them via their own website.

    Best Regards,

    M

    apologies for that b-builder.

Not a problem. I assumed the question was innocent enough. But just in case I did not want anybody providing the rates charged by Transform or any of the other PT's or coaches who post here discussed in an open forum.

IMHO this is information is confidential and strictly between the Trainer/coach and the client.

    Best Regards,

    M
