The Zombie Survivor Tournament

Similar to the horror tourney we had,I thought this one deserved it's own thread.


Rules:
The competitors face either;
100 Sprinting Zombies or 250 Shambling Zombies

They will be random locations[Submissions welcome]

Kill or Be Killed we want survivors not escape artists,they must eliminate all of the horde using only what limited resources they have available to them.

Humans Only

First to 5 votes [Horde or survivor]
In the interest of practicality,they will be given a small amount of ammo for a generic gun[or their signature weapon,where applicable]

Jason Bourne

The Supermarket


While out doing his groceries the agent stumbled across an informant,after disposing of this spy in a back room,Bourne emerges at the rear of the main store to find a rather large crowd of angry looking zombies waiting for him.

As this was a relatively civilian trip has 1 Glock 17 [13 bullets] in his Jacket pocket.The Zeds have not seen him,yet.

Bourne is killed.

Having only 13 rounds of ammo on him, Jason quickly heads for the cleaning chemicals to whip up some homemade bombs. These are quickly detonated resulting in fires which begin to engulf the store.

Bourne has to resort to hand to hand and tho he's tough - there are too many and they are just tooooo fast.

Dunno for sure... but thats a start at least.

Ok on the face of it things look bad but if we stick with Bourne’s character here he’ll do a hell of a lot better if he has a young lady to protect.

So Bourne re-enters supermarket to see “cute checkout girl” being chased by zeds. His protective instincts and hard ass black ops training kick in and he easily takes down the chasing deadheads. Then using “cute checkout girls” intimate knowledge of the interior and back rooms of the supermarket Bourne is able to evade and eliminate the zombies one by one or in small groups until the end when he discovers the whole thing is a covert black ops programme gone wrong that he was once a part of (insert convenient memory flashbacks here:rolleyes:) and now must expose and destroy.:p

Bourne re-enters the main supermarket silently, as soon as he sees the horde, he quickly retreats the way he came back into the stores.

He gets to work using the forklift to place crates around the floor making a giant food obstacle course. He knows if he can push them into a bottle neck he has a chance, incidentally Bourne had just watched 300 the night before.:P

He makes his way to a high point in the store, and carries a few crates of tinned food with him this will be his fall-back position so best to stock it now, he also has a large fire extinguisher.

He then makes lots of noise, with the infected only able to enter a few at a time he has plenty of time to pick them off with a flying tin of jumbo valve baked beans.

He also has his gun it things get hairy.

Bourne to survive with ease.

Bourne turns the entire shop into a furnace. Luckily the shop was having a special on cooking oil, He breaks down the store produce and shelving mostly around the outer walls leaving the middle covered with good absorbent materials to soak up the cooking oil and rigs some shelving to collapse once the Zombies are in.

Get's up on the roof finding easy access down to the ground , lets in the Zombies, traps them and sets the place on fire, mutters something about kippers.

I just can't realistically see Bourne surviving this. He good, but he just doesn't have enough time to prepare, and while his combat skills are top-notch he isn't going to win against that many opponents who are singleminded in their desire to kill.
Bourne eats the last round in his Glock. Zombies win

Well as Bourne is played by an actor and that actor wouldn't be seen dead ( excuse the pun) in a supermarket, he would send his entourage to do his shopping.
They be quickly overpowered but ironically would kept some deep rooted sense of serving their master and return to his abode, with some metrosexual beauty products for Bourne.
As Bourne opens the door to his returning serfs, he quickly gets his face eaten off. Even those beauty products wont help him now.

Well,I'm calling this a success,he does get out alive and make it home[if he dies at home it's his own problem]

Bourne Kicks Ass.

Takes to the top of the Aisles where he's out of reach, then systematicly funnels them into bottlenecks and Smushes theit squidgey little heads til theres none left.

Bourne Realises that if the Shop Filled with 250 Sprinters in the time it took himto beat the Snot out of some Infornmant(not very Long) he'd be fairly Daft to venture outside.

he uses the last of his mobile phone battery to call whatever friends he can and get themto the Supermarket

Once bourne has secured the Premises he burns the Dead Z's in the Shop incinirator and establishes a camp on the Roof, Diligently lookin survivors he can Rescue.

Yup - have to agree on this. Rambo would take down the Shamblers. His up close and personal methods of killing would work just fine for the shambling horde.

He'd rig up a number of traps to take out large numbers at a time while using the terrain to his advantage.

rambo, sharp metal, hidey places, win.

he might get tired. but thats about it. and unless he finds a workers lunchbox, he might just get too tired. but still, i wouldnt put it past him to hack off a z limb and chow down on it.

THE GYM

The Stallion was working out as he did every thursday,when after his first set he noticed the gym to be empty and a groaning coming from the entrance,as he checked he sees a stream of mouldy corpses shuffling towards him.

The beefcake was mid routine so he has no firearms on his person,what could this ordinary joe rustle up in a Gym.

Concur, wheras rambo was a creature adept at sneakin up on his prey, Rocky, the Pugilist that he is, would doubtlessly resort to Punchin his way straight out, inevetibly leading him into the epicentre of a horde, where if we are lucky he is promptly torn to shreds.

Rocky's skill set does not lend itself to his survival. While he may be able to bottleneck the horde for a short time they will eventually overwhelm him and bring him down.

THE AIRPORT


While reliving his previous achievements at the airport,John is trapped in the familiar location by the weather,he can't escape until they blizzard clear,but will he be around to get the chance? The zombified staff may have something different to say about that.

With his signature SIG P220 in his chest holster this could be a long stay[9x9mm bullets]

McClane COULD Survive his way through this, get some supplies and hold out in the Tower or somewhere els and hope that the debilitating cold of the Blizzard hinders the Zom's somewhat as he drops heavy objects on them from a safe height.

He WONT Tho, McClanes inherent Gung Ho Nature and emotional attachment to people will see him doing something Heroic but Retarded and gettin himself eaten.

A close win for McClane. i would see it play out as it has done in an of his previous films, escape the initial fray, get stuck in a ventilation duct somewhere, and engage with small groups of the sprinters; each time getting to safety just as something explodes.

How it would go down:
During the initial escape from the terminal he picks some off from an upstairs balcony -10 Z's, he's now out of ammo.

Gets to the tower via some fire escapes and some air ducts, finds some ammo in a security post. There's firefight down the tower stairs with a few CRT monitors thrown at the oncoming horde. -15 Z's.

Rappels down the side of the tower by means of knotted electrical cables to the field, heads for the fire station. A few z's might try to follow him out the window, lessening the numbers. -5 Z's.

he has a head start anyway, all the rest of the z's have to run back down through the building.on arrival at the fire station he acquires an airfield fire truck and proceeds to mow down the majority of the horde. -50 z's

The truck is damaged by all the carnage, and john makes his way on foot back towards the terminal, being chased by the Z's. uses most of his last mag firing wildly. -5 Z's

running for the nearest plane, he passes a fuel truck. laughing, he turns and says, "yippie Ki Yay, mother****er" and empties that last round into the fuel truck, detonating it and ending the final few sprinters. -15 Z's

cut from the glass in the tower and the crashed fire truck, and scorched from the exploded fuel tanker, McClane survives, barely.

Will he have enough ammo? How many rounds does he have on him? You can't play hide and seek with these zombies. You can't play divide and conquer. I don't think McClane would have brought enough ammo for a party. I think the initial shock will make him stand his ground, will take down the first few sprinters. But in his naivety I don't think McClane will realise that these poor souls are truly lost and will fail to go for head shots. Hence, this is why I think that the Sprinters will be too much for him.

I like McClane but he has alot of issues in his life, problem with drink, problem with wife.

This could be the breaking point. He would go down fighting, fighting the demons in his own head.
