What weather widget are you using?

    Looks like weather eye.

Tok9, check battery widget reborn. I find it better than circle battery and no need to root

Weather eye as Gran Hermano said. Has some really cool icons.

It looks like the metrostation icon pack to me

Samsung S3, just using Go Launcher with very basic themes/icons. I'm not a fan of clutter, simplicity all the way (plus Im not very good with all this so I probably couldn't do anything more technical even if I wanted to!) :)

It's much greener/more saturated when looking at it on the phone itself.

Basic theme, only have the one screen but quick access to my main apps, it loads fast and it gives me what I need to know (time, notifications) at a glance. Running GSIII on JB 4.1.1.

Which method did you use to root your one x? Think i rooted mine before but looks like ive lost it through the OTA updates. Currently on 2.17 but the one click method doesnt work now.

Just used this guide - http://onexroot.com/one-x-root/how-to-root-one-x/

If you do it, follow the steps also, as he skips one bit in the video. I think it is step 39.

I was getting "FAILED (command write failed (Unknown error)" with the one i was using but this method looks more hands-on so will try it later. cheers

For security reasons is it safe to install launchers on android if I am using banking apps etc. They seem to need a lot of permissions and I am afraid to try one. Is there any launcher that is safer than another. I dont have the phone rooted if that makes any difference.

While I cant say all launchers are only asking for what they really need in order to work as they should, sometimes it help to understand why they want what they want.

This is just one launcher breakdown of why it needs them:
