Is it okay for a man to cry at a Movie (movie spoilers within)?

Really i gotta admit that Marley and Me had me going near the end cos that Dog reminded me of mine but other than that i've never really felt the inclination to cry at a film. Got me thinking though is it okay for blokes to cry at films? I'd personally think it was a bit odd if i was in the pictures and some bloke was crying his eyes out near me (especially if i was at the terminator or summit).

I have shed a tear to many movies but knew that something was wrong when I got emotional to an episode of Home and Away.

Not really but if you ever owned a dog that film is going to pull hard at your emotion strings.

Few years ago that was one of the inflight films on the way back from Orlando. Kids screaming, women greeting and the men all biting their tongues. You would have thought we were going down.

Year past May was the flight

Of course it is BUT only if you are crying at a selfless noble death of another man, machine or dog. Even then when your bird is going awww etc you're obliged to grab her tit.

Me and the boy watched Marley and Me a few months back and the both of us were emotional crying wreaks by the end of the movie.

The one and only time I've caught him cry.

I dont see anything wrong with a man crying at a movie if the movie was sad I cant see the problem , Men have feelings too and should be allowed to express their feeling without anyone passing comments and saying they have the ghey

We're watching movies which are classically stored on film.. We're not sitting watching film.

I watched The Road, in a very fragile state one Sunday morning. It broke me. First movie I ever cried to. I'll never watch it again.

No, now don't be ghey either. Go drink beer & harrass women like any other beer swilling, gut belching alpha-male member of our society do.

    Man - No.
    Male - possibly.

I've shed a few tears at the end of a good few films, a couple of books and even an episode of Buffy! I tend to watch films on Sundays when I'm very hungover so somewhat unstable to begin with. Marley and Me totally did me over, was in ribbons for like the last half an hour of that film.

Time and place , just leave the boy at home. Maybe rent Sex and the City 2 for him it will keep him busy. :P :pac:

Marley and me = Life's shít then your dog dies. Not sad just depressing.

Cried my eyes out to The Karate Kid. It’s the story of a hopeful, young karate enthusiast whose dreams and moxie take him all the way to the All Valley Karate Championship.

Then at the end he tragically loses to that nerdy kid who barely even knows Karate. It's so sad.

Anyway, the only film that almost tipped me over the edge was The bridge to Terabithia. Barely held on to my man card through that one.

A bloke can cry, but a Man (grr, football, tits, beer, spitting, rawr,) shouldn't.

Having said that, Marley & Me had me sobbing like a little bitch with a skinned knee. I have emoticons too you know. Now someone get me some wine and one of those wingy vagina sponges, my ovary is exploding.
