    i'm just looking for the main riff that kicks in when the main lyrics start and cant figure it out, thanks in advance

    I'd have to agree with Phil there, sounds more like 1-4-6-5 to me.
    So C-F-Am-G or transposed equivalent.

    EDIT: Unless it changes somewhere in the middle of the song?

    EDIT2:And Lord that's a crap song. I'll assume OP has a good reason to be looking for the chords. Best of luck with whatever you're doing OP.

    I didn't have me guitar handy so wasn't sure if it was c or not.
    A quick of google of tonic, relative minor etc show the chords which is wat I was intending as its good to know the chords like this.
    It's actually the standard way when you are learning by ear, you know 1,3,5 etc. You might not know the actual perfect pitch notes but you will know the intervals. The 4th is quite clear here as the seocnd chord..don't know what else to tell you.
