Haven't been able to find a way to play WMA10 (wmapro) files or WMA lossless files in Ubuntu. Has anyone been able to do this? I have all my files stored in either of these two formats so it would be pretty handy. Conversion is not an option, especially not with the WMA pro files. VLC won't do it for me.

install the latest version(0.6) of FFmpeg from the software center/synaptic in ubuntu or download it from the link.

Once its installed VLC can use ffmpeg's libraries( i think). worth a go anyway.
The latest version off FFmpeg supports WMAPro - see the link above for details.
