Your biggest worry in life shouldn't be how to get thanked on boards, it should be how you're going to convince yourself to leave the computer and try socialising in the real world.

I'd get a hobby if I were you. Hobbies are a great way of meeting new people who have similar interests to you. This may lead to some drinks down the pub which in turn may lead to more opportunities for socialising with real people.

At some point in your adventure you might find yourself being asked for advice or a favour from one of these real people. If you are obliging, there is a very good chance that they might thank you for your help. Can you imagine that? Thanks in the real world, not just in cyber space.

If you don't want to put this effort in, just look for a newly opened thread in after hours, google some good joke related to the topic, preferably dirty and make sure that its at the most post #5

Good luck in whichever path you choose.
