Yeah, you got there before me

In any case OP, nothing's stopping you getting into politics. Unless this is a general "what would you do as world dictator" question, in which case I don't see how gender comes into it

at the end of the day one of the great things about this wee economic downturn we're having is the return of many women to the home. i know a few women and to be honest they're not made out for the 9-5 mallarky. kids turn out better if the mother is there in the kitchen having the house nice and tidy and a nice home baked meal when they come home from school. Dev would have been rolling in his grave to see the carryon of irish lassies during the celtic tiger. hopefully a bit of normalcy is returning.

I think it's amazing that women always say this :p

Unfortunately all we have to do is look at the violence perpetrated in Russia in "the age of empresses"
i.e. the 1700's where there was plenty of violence, murder, deceit, infidelity, etc... etc...
All this bloodshed perpetrated @ the hands of women

Methinks power doth corrupt & deceive the lady's fair soul ;)

I will find a place where the world domination would be on the male part :D .
Women aren't logic, they hate other women if they're more good-looking than themselves and yes, I think we sould go back to tradititional values where women were more feminine, not that agressive and didn't compete with men; we women had our role and now we seem to lose it...

Here's a note about power. You either have it, or you don't. Nobody has power in the aggregate. If men are more powerful on average this is because specific men - the ones in power - have more power than powerless men, and/or women. They are not sharing it.

Homeless men are not powerful. Entry level office clerks are not powerful. The guy working at McDonalds is not powerful. Averaging power out across gender is meaningless - you either are, or you aren't powerful.

Right so thats why religious leaders are predominantly men and governments :D oh lets not forget bankers also

    Time for a change :p

Men rule women at everything, even things women are supposed to be good at like cooking, hair dressing and designing clothes are still ruled by men.:D

Women will always be kept in their place...second place:cool:

I never had the problem of my woman leaving the home to go out working. I made sure she never left the kitchen. They seem to clean and cook better with some discipline.

    Time for a change :p

    from http://www.iqcomparisonsite.com/SexDifferences.aspx:
"Male and female mean IQs are about equal below the age of 15 but males have a higher mean IQ from age 15 on. The effect of sex differences in IQ is largest at the high extreme of intelligence. Since many of the more prestigious roles in society are associated with high IQ, the lack of female representation in these roles may be partially due to fewer females being competitive at the highest levels."

Men are smarter so we should get more powerful positions.

The referenced sources he uses to back up his waffle are all men - Arthur, Cecil, Richard & Paul. Two of which are outdated by nearly 30 years. I suspect the entire effort is lacking neutrality.

If you were a woman, you would have checked this. ;)

Yes. Let's look forward to a world where reason and accountability don't exist. (I mean generally. Don't start bull****ing on about Fianna Fail, bankers etc). A world where bitchiness and cruel calculating deviousness takes precedence instead of the manly to your face, "You're a tool and I'm going to **** you over".

A world where women feel they are entitled and should be over represented in all areas simply because they're women and all men are bastards who have been keeping them down and hampering all of their progressive ideals and ambitions. Especially in politics were there simply is not enough of a "balanced" gender representation, which as the female weighted media maintains is due to good old fashined sexism as opposed to a lack of women willing to start in grass root politics and put themselves forward for the democratic process of election instead of working their way up as is the norm!

I could go on, like how the media is completely geared towards women and how the current generation of young men,(anyone born after 1985), is completley androgenous and feminine but i can't be arsed. Obviously there is sexism and of course there are men who are knuckle dragging morons who can't deal with a woman with an opinion or ambition. However I resent this new fangled female attitude that men are nothing more than overgrown children who are clinging on for all their worth to this so called power or control that we supposedly exert over society.

How many ad's nowadays portray men as being complete simpletons who can't do anything for themselves while their wife/girlfriend sniggers and castigates them in the background. Irrespective of the nonsense that women have had to deal with in the (distant) past, there is a very nasty anti male undercurrent prevalent in today's society.

About as many portraying insipid women doing all the cooking, cleaning and childcare by the looks of things. Not to mention the ones where the woman needs a big strong man to come and clear the drains.
    Works both ways.
And yes, there is a lot of nonsense still going on today. But don't let that get in the way of your rant about women!
