Hopefully someone here can help me find some socks with some grippy thing on the sole.

    Ideally something like:

    or

    Triciacombomed_1.jpg

    or even just these guys

    51ic68sIHmL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Ideally a store in Dublin or a irish online retailer or if that's not possible any online retailer recommendations would be great. If people have actually used any and found them good/bad/indifferent that would also be great to hear.

vibrams would work and have worked for me

I'd much prefer a soft soled sock as opposed to the vibrams.

Totes socks are meant to be non-slip and are fairly widely available. If you want bricks and mortar, Arnotts and Debenhams certainly used to stock them, and online they're available from amazon plus loads of others (including obviously totes themselves, as in the link above).

Also anatomy.ie in Galway does GripSox, but I'd say they're more expensive (no price on the website) and they don't look much different from Totes in the grip type - i.e. they both have little rubbery splodges on the soles, like in your third illustration above.
