I can definately think of better ways of spending €1,200 alright. As for worst ad on donedeal ever, I'm sure it may well be up there, but there would be some bloody downright bad other contenders on donedeal for that trophy!

What a waste of €3 putting that ad on done deal .

He could have bought a quick-pick , and you never know , it might have been him .

I can think of a fair few cars I rather spend 1200 on, all working perfectly fine :D
It's not even a good classic.

743 views in 4 hours, the seller probably thinks there is a great interest in his car should we e-mail him a link to this page to kill his excitement? That thing will never be on the road again.

You may think he's a fool for asking that kinda money....BUT.... I bet out of the 743 views he's had there's another fool willing to give him 1200!!:D

**** me, that is a pile of ****. If he takes off the tyres, removes the battery and drains the fuel tank, then tows it to a scrap yard, he might be lucky to get €50.

Hey, saw the ad. What kind of mileage does she have? Would you be willing to knock a bit off the price?

Hi, there is 66K shown on the clock but I can't tell if thats genuine , I
would say there is more. It has been off the road for 10 years and had some
engine work done not too long before that.
Give me a call if you want to view the car
    _____________________________________________________________

Lol he sounds like he is actually serious! I wonder what this engine work entails. What should I ask next (assuming he does not find this thread):

I'm thinking - "Is she NCT'ed?" Or perhaps "Any chance of a test-drive?"

    but

im almost certain the seller made a big hole in the driver floor so you can still move the car.

Na not NCT'd, I could throw in a set of GTI alloys at extra cost, drop over
anytime , help me bleed the pump and we can take her for a spin.
    J.

Extra cost! Lol reply I sent:

Well I wouldn't know much about mechanics now, so not sure what you mean by bleed the pump - we can always go to a local garage for petrol instead? How much of an extra cost are we talking about? I think my offer to pay 90% of your asking is fair enough. I'll tell you what though, I'm a carpenter by trade. I could make you up a nice few boards or a dresser maybe instead?

We'll have to go with this ad:
Not only is it the least desirable Triumph ever, it has been converted to diesel to make it completely pointless:

He couldn't even be bothered to remove the Kitkat wrapper and general junk from seats in third picture. Maybe he is trying to tell us something - "The car will break - have a Kitkat?"

    It just gets better!
Why not buy a bare, rusted out shell for €1200?
    http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/vintagecars/1438088

Is it just me, or are there nothing but insanely overpriced sheds for sale on donedeal?
I always wondered how classic cars in Ireland cost 10 times the price compared to the UK?
    And are always complete sheds?
