I'm wondering if people get enough of this? Also, do you take fish oil tablets? I'm considering taking one per day.

I take about 5g or so of fish oil daily. I would also eat fish fairly regularly and avoid over consumption of omega 6 acids.

I don't really eat enough omega three, but it's just as important to keep your omega six intake down which I am trying to do. The amount of omega three you need depends on your omega six intake.

Vegetable oils above all else but seeds, nuts (macadamias and walnuts are a bit better) and their oils, cereals, grain fed meats etc.

On another note, i just read a source saying that the American (which i imagine we a close on par with) diet has an omega6 -3 ratio of 10:1 (i previously thought it was 6:1) . Ideally it should be around 3:1 favoring 3's.

That's an unholy difference there. No wonder people are laden with inflammation diseases, bad heart and CV health.

I take a good fish oil daily, eat a fair bit of flax purely because i love milled flax and get about 3 portions of salmon a week. If you search the forum for threads on fish oil you will get a lot of info (thanks to temple).

This is worth a read too - http://thehealthyskeptic.org/essentialfattyacids

Transform - regular fitness forumite has a blog called the transform catylst and covers the issue there too.
