You know the game hates you when...

- randomly thrown grenades land and explode at your feet
- just as you switch weapons an enemy runs around a corner
- turn a corner and walk into a spray of bullets meant for someone else
- respawn near and with back to an an enemy camper
- killed across map by unaimed grenade launcher

all this happened to me on one tdm on highrise yesterday

When you look around a corner and there nobody there but you sense there might be enemy lurking so you wait for them to come round the corner only they don't so you get impatient and head round the corner to find the enemy doing the same only he has a shotgun in your face.

You curse your luck and think "if I had waited 2 seconds more I had him!" :mad:

frag grenades roll towards you, you frantically mash R2 to fling it back, and it goes off in your hand, at least semtex stays in one place!

one of your dumbass teammates is blocking a doorway or stairs, and then an enemy gets a double kill as he runs in/behind you.

that has happened to me so many times, I've changed my gameplay to the extent that I will now wait a few more seconds than I normally would before i start to move

• When you run out of bullets just as another enemy comes running around the corner.
• You have a silenced weapon, say intervention, and another guy spawns beside you, and start shooting randomly with his unsilenced weapon. *Hails of noobtubes, frags and semtex come flying in*
• (this happens to me alot) You watch a Sandy Ravage (or other machinima / good MW2 player) playing, get in a good mood to play as good as them, you log in and the first thing that happens is your face is blasted by ranger akimbos hiding in a corner.
• You just can't seem to play properly today.

• You see someone running into a room, follow them in to knife them, only for them to turn around, just as you get to the door, catch you unexpected, and knife you instead.
• You try to knife someone, someone else on your team kills them while you're mid-knife, and before the animation finishes, another enemy comes around the corner and kills you.
• You're one kill off a chopper gunner, without having to use your predator, and decide to get the kill yourself, and save the missile, and instead you end up getting killed straight away.:pac:

When you've gotten 3 care packages so far, 1 had a uav, 2 had ammo (i have scavenger!) and then you lob one thinking it'll be something crap again, you get killed, and its a fcuking CHOPPER GUNNER! argggggh!

When you kill someone who's on martyrdom, you see the grenade symbol and take off running as fast as your pixelly legs will carry you only for that freakin hamster in a ball frag to hunt you down.

Entire team spawns outside a door. One team mate blocks the door. Predator incoming. Other team completes the Grim Reaper challenge because of it.

I've caught bullets from sentries that have passed through warm blooded teammates. I've been killed by 'friendly' martyrdom grenades in HC TDM. I've been witness to the genius that is a teammate camping in a doorway blocking my path, getting us both killed. But that's just other people's flaws.

The game hates me when, for no good reason my airstrikes hit me. Once put an airstrike on the petrol station on Overgrown. I was at the barn at the far end of the riverbed. I was the only person on the map to get hit (no ricochet, no teamkilling penalty). Flabber well and truly gasted. Happened twice in one day, like it went out one side of the map and in the other.

-when you move around, all stealthy, with silencers and ninja, and then a team-mate comes along, and starts firing like mad at something, giving away your position, and you get killed by a nade chucked that way as a result.
-When you are alone, and get killed by a Pred Missile. Then you look at the killcam, and see that there was 3 of your team huddled in an easily reachable spot. Makes you feel like the game hates you.
-When you drop a care package, and it bounces off something, like the bloody ground, grazes your shin and kills you.

Last night the craziest thing happened to me, I was trying to shoot down a pavelow with my stinger, so lock-on, pull the trigger,oh shít wait there is a friendly care package falling right in front of me, out goes the missle, hit the care package, boom im dead :eek:

I was playing a game late last night, after our Boards games.

Was in Quarry. Just secured a care package. Went towards the exit of the hanger and threw the care package flare out.. only for a team mate to run in front of me - the flare hits his back, bounces back into the hanger and then gets dropped on the roof!

I know the feeling. Guarantee the guy that done it was going to try and rob it if he seen it land. So many arseholes in mw2 it's not even funny.

As if having to counteract the enemy team isn't bad enough, having to avoid your team-mates ****ness is another.

well to be fair if someone on my team dropped a package and got killed, if it was something good I'd take it to stop the enemy getting it, call it being selfish but if its a choice of snagging someones pavelow or letting the other team get it then I'd take it. sure it wont count towards a killstreak anyway so whats the difference. I'd be more pissed if a teammate didnt take my package and let the other guys have my chopper gunner or something, least you know its contributing to the right team.

That wasn't my point. My point was the dickheads who feel the need to run infront of you and try take your package before you run over to it.

That's bad form. If i die then by all means have it, just don't try take it ahead of me.

ah that, yeah thats annoying, good thing you can snatch it quicker than they can if its your package, hate that when you get an airdrop and everyone tries to nick the good stuff, they can have ammo and uav's, the ac-130 is mine, all mine!

I had chopper gunner out before in Underpass. When I got it I hid under the walkbridge (the one over which both spawned teams look). I kept shooting at this red square I thought was on the bridge. It wouldn't die. I soon realised some guy thought he was pro, hiding there, waiting to knife me, and thus end my killstreak (22 as it ended). Instantly after leaving the Chopper Gunner laptop I spam clicked R3 to kill him. And got him.

Showed him. Was well chuffed :D

When you have a care package in hardcore team death match, you lob the marker in a nice safe place then, bang your own team mate shoots you in the face, what a muppet.

When you and the other boardsies are playing Domination on Fuel and the other team get beat so bad they all leave except one that goes on to be 0-18.

In fairness, he was the only guy who stayed the whole game on the opposition team. How you could die 18 times and not manage to kill anyone is beyond me though, even with the lag!
