Is there any difference between cycling on a low resistance for 60mins versus 60mins on a high resistance in terms of weight loss. Obviously a greater distance is covered on the lighter resistance and more calories are burned according to the display but what about overall effect.

It would seem that using a lighter resistance seems more logical from the point of view of burning more calories as you are doing more revolutions of the legs but not really sure what is the best course of action for weight loss.

    Any advice ?

It depends on the effort you put in during those 60 mins as to which is better. Set the resistance to your ability.
